The Company derives its income from sponsorship, subscriptions, and by maintaining the top-level www.StayingInWales.com domain for Wales.

4. Licences
SIW is licensed in Wales to use GIS mapping software developed by This Week Wales and is a Google licensed product developer.

5. Undertaking
SIW undertakes to provide accurate, timely, accessible and fully-networked information to assist visitors in their choice of destination and to book accommodation.

6. Basic Membership
Basic membership is free to VisitWales registered businesses, Regional Tourism Company members, and members of other sectoral groups that form part of the Wales Tourism Alliance. Basic members gain free listings on the StayingInWales.com network and receive a regular Bulletin providing reports on marketing activity and planned new developments.

VisitWales registered business become basic members when they opt to share their information with ‘Staying in Wales’ upon registration or any time afterwards. All basic members then have the option of subscribing to Special Membership Packages if they wish.

7. Subscription Membership
Subscription members gain access to a full range of live online marketing services:
7.1 From 2007, members paying an annual subscription of £60 +17.5% VAT (£70.50 total) or monthly payments of £7.99 +17.5% VAT (£9.40 total) gain marketing benefits consisting of microsite; map-enabled managed web pages (see item 8), an exlusive http://wales.info domain name and website, entries in the wales.info directory and other benefits shown at http://members.stayinginwales.com plus new benefits announced from time to time in the Members Bulletin.
7.2 Annual subscription membership covers the calendar year 1st January¬31st December and can be paid by PayPal, cheque, telephone or internet banking.
7.3 Monthly subscription membership is only available via PayPal and can be cancelled at any time after the first month. This enables trialling before full annual membership is taken out.
7.4 Rates shown are for individual properties in one location in order for the location mapping to function correctly.

Subscription members are also able to take part in year-round Internet marketing campaigns of their choice for no extra charge.

8. Microsite; Map-Enabled Managed Web Pages
For the benefit of subscription members:
8.1 Managed web page content consists initially of information supplied by VisitWales.com.
8.2 Members can use their Login details to change their content (with the exception of their star grading (see 8.3) and monitor their web pages performance. Members should ensure that all information provided is accurate and in keeping with their Wales Tourist Board accreditation.
8.3 Star-grading information is received directly from the Wales Tourist Board but mid-term changes can be made upon receipt of an email or telephone request. These requests are dealt with immediately.
8.4 Managed web page content consists of name, address, telephone number, approximately 100 words (500 characters) of description, two photographs, details of facilities, rates, attractive location maps (see 8.5), unlimited 'Our location' text, two website links, and an email enquiry form.
8.5 Location maps cover a radius of approximately 10 miles from the property zooming to 6 miles (with separate maps covering public transport) and are linked to information on. Attractions, Events and Restaurants in the area. Street-level mapping is planned for linking to Entertainment, Pubs, Shops and Local Services as soon as new license agreements are signed.
8.6 Enquiry forms will only function properly if up-to-date email addresses are provided. It will also be possible to divert email enquiries to mobile phones.
8.7 Enquiry forms are optional for Attractions and Restaurants.
8.8 Copyright and intellectual property rights over Microsite design and network functionality rest with SIW.

9. Wales.info Directory
For the benefit of subscription members:
SIW is the leading provider of hospitality information to the Wales.info web directory. In addition to managed web pages, subscription members benefit from main headings and A-Z listing entries at Wales.info; links to their managed web pages; news features; search engine marketing; email marketing, and enquiry referrals.

10. Login
Members subscribing to Special Membership Packages receive a Username and Password allowing them to access their MyAccount pages, change their details and monitor performance. Login details can be memorised by the server for quick and easy access and can be changed at any time. There is a facility to retrieve forgotten login details if necessary.

11. Marketing
With broadband coverage extending to over 99% of the UK and 8m subscribers already signed up, SIW has ratcheted up its online presence through close association with the new Wales.info portal for Wales.
11.1 All visitor information at the new portal is provided by SIW whose members benefit from the search engine marketing carried out for Wales by the portal.
11.2 Online newsletters are emailed regularly to 10,000 holidaymakers that have registered to receive them. This number is expected to grow considerable through SIW’s association with the new portal.
11.3 Festivals and events are key in attracting visitors to Wales and generating enquiries for accommodation. It is for this reason that SIW has direct links to WalesCalendar.com.
11.4 Copies of market research information are available from the online archive.

14. Network Performance
Network performance is covered by a 24/7 Service Level Agreement between Staying in Wales Limited and its Internet Service Provider (ISP) who undertake to provide a response within four hours to reported interruptions.

16. Exclusions
SIW with support from its members, will use its best endeavours to maintain the accuracy of all information and content and to maintain communication with consumers without breaks in transmission. Neither SIW nor its Members can be held responsible for inaccuracies in information provided by third parties or breaks in transmission beyond its reasonable control or for any consequences thereof.
